Root Blowers and its Functions

Root blowers have a unique mechanism and traditional use since a very long time. They have a mechanism which intakes the air from the inlet and rotates the dual impellers in different directions by trapping the air during rotation through the impeller by casing technique and then discharging it from the outlet. Root blowers are available in different designs and can come in twisted or straight form. Earlier they were mainly used for melting iron by using them in blast furnaces to blow combustion air.
